My place

From sea to summit, the Highlands of Scotland is beautiful in every light and season to Tania Mackie of Tall Tree Yoga. “Highland is our home and is where my heart lies,” she says. “It is a unique, exceptional place where we share the beaches and coastlines, the hills and the mountains with the otters and eagles.”

And sinking her toes in the sand is one of her favourite things to do. “While my husband (Angus Mackie, Scotland 360) captures the landscape on camera, I play in the sand or balance on rocks.” Dunnet Bay is set against the sweeping cliffs of Dunnet Head in the Far North and the bay is an arc of white sand, backed by rolling waves. “It is a place like no other and is one of my special places, even on a winter’s day.”
