Gluten-free, nutrient-rich and delicious, it’s the smallest in the millet family and has been grown in West Africa for 5,000 years. 100% natural, organic and vegan and packed with goodness (rich in iron, source of zinc, vitamin B1, B3 and phosphorus). Cooks in just three minutes as an alternative to quinoa, rice or couscous. Available online and from WholeFoods and Planet Organic.
Sweet Freedom Syrups
Plant-based brand Sweet Freedom has launched its new caramel and vanilla syrups. With only 13 calories per teaspoon, now you can sweeten and flavour your coffee without guilt! They’re versatile too: unlike standard thin, watery coffee syrups out there, these are thick enough to drizzle over pancakes, porridge, waffles, yoghurt, chopped fresh fruit or even for use in baking.
