THELODGE.SPACE

120A Lower Road, London, SE16 2UB theLodge.space

Meet London’s community-driven studio space, the home of all things wellness and healing in SE16: theLodge.space.
Community is at the heart of this space. An intention of the space is to connect people and harness relationships that grow and encourage a positive change in the outside world. Utilising mixed movement disciplines, an understanding of nutrition and recovery-focused holistic treatments to aid your journey and enhance your practice. Rise, fall, be.

Treat yourself to a day at the space? An early rise practice, a dynamic 7am wakeup, followed by a peaceful chai and a bite in the zen garden amongst the cacophony of parakeets and kids. Join a cohort of co-workers before taking a midday holistic/medical treatment to recharge mind and body. Refuel and satisfy the palette with an organic Buddha bowl and a freshly-squeezed detox juice. Take that juice and head through the secret exit into the park, contemplate life on a long walk (perhaps with a dog; as the space is dog friendly).

Bringing nature’s qualities indoors is reflected through the micro jungle being created in the space as well as the direct access into Southwark Park. An expansiveness presenting a sense of homeliness ripples all through the space; on the mat and off.
Yoga is the primary passion and service of the space where another intention is to expose its members to a wide variety of yogic and mindful traditions. The studio is proud to be one of the only spaces in London offering Aerial Yoga and Aerial Conditioning classes, which support the pulling aspect complementing all mat-based classes.

The studio is well known for running TRX Suspension training which uses a progressive and versatile piece of fitness equipment. These sessions are run by @breathefitnessuk.

From the team themselves: “London’s fluctuating energies require safe, sacred spaces to release and find balance; we are here to serve.”Follow @thelodge.space on Instagram for updates and more information
