This superb, peaceful retreat, led by Suzanne JevonHughston, a long established teacher and founder of
Jevon Yoga holidays since 2007, is nestled in the heart of rural Sicily, in the Madonie region. This will be her second visit to Sicilian Spirit Yoga Retreat and she warmly invites you to join her (suitable for all levels including beginners from 16 years). The location offers breathtaking views and wonderful nature walks, as well as the highest quality yoga. Early summertime will have warmed the pool, opened up alfresco dining, and the climate will be pleasant enough for outside
morning and evening yoga practices under open skies.
Join Suzanne Jevon-Hughston for a week of yoga and wellness in the Sicilian sunshine this month. You’ll be staying at the tranquil Sicilian Spirit yoga retreat centre in the Madonie region in the centre of the island, and enjoy the best yoga and healthy foods.
Meals are lovingly prepared offering seasonal fruits and vegetables, some freshly picked from the organic garden. You’ll be served a hearty brunch and evening supper, and refreshments will be available all day long. Enjoy a glass of organic wine from the cellar, quiet times, group conversations, and time to simply be.
During the day you can take yourself off to explore the region with quaint villages, seaside ports and historic architecture, and you may even be tempted to climb Mount Etna. Whether you choose to stay at the retreat or go out and about, you’ll make memories, new friends and through daily yoga practices, you’ll learn more about your body and gain greater insight into your own personal needs. How much?
Prices start from £900 (£700 for a non-participant partner) and includes: 7 daily morning yoga and meditation practices, 7 daily evening practices, 7 brunches, 7 suppers, refreshments, a mid-week day trip to the pretty fishing village of Cefalù. Single, double/twin and shared (up to 4 people) rooms available, all with bathrooms and kitchenettes. Not included: flights, travel insurance, visa where applicable, transfers to/from the retreat (but can be arranged), massages, alcohol and excursions.
