Be Still Candle

Cult Brooklyn-based independent perfumery brand D. S. & Durga has launched its first ever meditation candle, Be Still. For perfumer David Seth Moltz (DS), meditation is a daily way of life. “You don’t need a candle to meditate but it’s nice to create the space for the ritual of inward exploration,” he says. Having created the candle initially for his own personal use, to act as a fragrant sensory barrier between himself and the outside world during meditation, David describes Be Still as “pure incense resins in a transparent throw”. Perfectly[1]balanced notes of Himalayan cedar and cypress add to a scent that truly instils peace in any room. Available to buy on and at the prestigious Liberty store in London.

The Mat+ English Gardens

Yoga Hustle, a female-owned and female-run mat and accessories company from the USA, has just launched a new collection of yoga and meditation gear, including The Mat+ English Gardens, shown here. The Mat+ is longer and wider than your average yoga mat to give you more space to flow or stretch out and to create a sense of escape, a place where you can simply be for five minutes or 90 minutes in your peaceful English Garden (or the jungle, one of the other designs!). The Mat+ also features the firm’s 3L Technology, specially engineered for advanced non-slip grip.
