Anna Kichenside started practicing yoga in her early thirties after suffering with scoliosis. She wanted to feel better in her body and learn to manage back pain — that was her ‘why’ at the time. “The moment I found my mat I instantly fell in love with yoga!” she says.

Despite having a full-time demanding footwear design job, which she also loved, she began to crave more than the five-day working week lifestyle, and sought a healthier work-life balance, as she explored her yoga practice further.

She enrolled in a yoga teacher training and has not looked back since.

“My ‘why’ for doing my yoga training was to be strong and confident on and off the mat — strong and confident in my life decisions, in my life goals, in starting new business ventures, in escaping the typical 9-5 job, in myself. These were — and still are — my why’s… and I've successfully now designed the life I want!”

She’s now passionate about helping others find their own ‘why’.
