Nestled down a cobbled street in the market town of Knutsford lies something beautiful to be discovered - Carrot Banana Peach’s latest offering to wellness and plantbased living, including a new yoga studio and vegan cafe. However, this is only just the beginning!

Knutsford was home to a Carrot Banana Peach retail store since 2017, but founder Nigel Gartside always had bigger plans for a wellness resort centre in Cheshire, a place that’s been at the heart of the business since it was founded in 1999. Wheels were set in motion in 2019 to give a former mill building a new purpose and lease of life, finally opening its doors to local yogis in summer 2021 with the perfect balance of industrial meets spiritual.

The concept seamlessly combines a peaceful yoga studio fully equipped with infrared panels for hot yoga along with reinforced beams for aerial yoga. The studio offers a varied selection of yoga classes from meditation, pregnancy and baby yoga through to vinyasa flow and weekly sound bath experiences. Also on the ground floor is the retail space which showcases Carrot Banana Peach’s latest range of plant-based yoga and sportswear, made in the UK.

The first floor shows off the building’s industrial heritage drawing your gaze upwards to vaulted ceilings and original exposed oak beams, providing the perfect relaxed setting for its new vegan cafe. Enjoy a coffee, smoothie or vegan treat after your class. A secluded treatment room offers massage and osteopathy appointments to aid and ease any aches and pains.

Future plans include workshops and retreats in the UK and abroad, as well as opening up an old door to a roof terrace which in warmer months will double up as an alfresco yoga studio and a great place to relax whilst sipping your super food latte.

So if you can’t wait to kick off your post-pandemic life with a dose of wellness and plant-based living then head down to Carrot Banana Peach's Bio Research and Resort Centre.
