Yoga & wine tasting
A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN: YOGA, WINE TASTING AND FABULOUS FRANCE
Take time out for yourself to recharge and unwind with some of life’s good things. The team at North London Yoga Studio (NLYS) are organising a retreat this June where the stars of the show will be yoga, wine…and you!
“Yoga isn’t just about eating kale and drinking herbal tea, it’s all about balance,” says NLYS founder Indira Das-Gupta.
That’s why she’s leading a retreat to France this summer blending together yoga and wine tasting. “A little bit of what you love is good for the soul,” she tells OM. “Given that studies show that red wine in moderation is good for your heart, combining wine tasting with yoga is actually a match made in heaven!”
Awe-inspiring retreats and ideas for yoga explorers
You’ll stay in Fontalbe, a beautiful property which has just been completely renovated in the picturesque Dordogne region of France (nearest airport Bergerac). The twin rooms are luxurious and spacious and have ensuite bathrooms. The house also has its own heated pool.
This is wine country so on one of the days you will enjoy a wine tasting session where all the wines will be locally sourced and biodynamic, accompanied by delicious tasting dishes. All the food throughout the stay will also be locally sourced and organic.
Twice daily yoga classes (don’t expect a glass of vino when you are mid-Downward Dog!) and delicious home-cooked brunch and dinner served every day, all included in the retreat price.
Retreat takes place June 22-25, 2020. Price: £699 (based on two people sharing a twin room). Excludes flights, transfers & extra day trips. For further details visit: nlys.co.uk/retreats-eventsnetus et malesuada.
