The Power Yoga Company

11-12 Lettice Street
London SW6 4EH
thepoweryogaco.com

Tucked away on a leafy street in Parsons Green, London, The Power Yoga Company is the destination for power yoga. Set in a New York style warehouse (a former glass artist’s studio) it’s the perfect place for your practice to unfold.

The huge picture windows, soaring ceilings and exposed rafters are almost as admired as the yoga classes. From restored original features to the lush greenery that adorns the walls, the studio has been carefully designed to make you feel calm and at peace. The large studio downstairs has industrial accents alongside specialist infrared heating (set at 25°C) while upstairs is a stunning smaller studio bathed in natural light.

You’ll find happy yogis relaxing in the lounge area or catching up with friends over herbal tea in the sun-soaked courtyard. Spacious changing rooms and showers ensure students leave refreshed and ready for the rest of the day and there’s a boutique stocked with yoga props, books and gifts.

Classes are taught by a hand-picked selection of the best teachers in town. Try a signature Power Yoga class to challenge the body or a restorative Yin to work the deeper connective tissue.

Specialist classes like Pregnancy Yoga and Kids Yoga are also on offer and the PYC Academy leads renowned yoga teacher training and continuing education courses.

Founded in 2007, the studio is a cherished part of the Parsons Green community, nestled in a vibrant neighbourhood of independent boutiques and cafes. Some students have even moved to the area to ensure The Power Yoga Co. is their local studio.

Co-founders Amelie and Marie-Laure are passionate about sharing the transformative power of yoga and creating a space where life-long friendships are forged.

“Put simply,” they say, “yoga transformed our lives and we want to share that magic with others. For the past 14 years our yoga studio and community has been empowering students on their journey to personal growth and wellbeing. We passionately believe that yoga is for everyone and we feel incredibly grateful to be able to operate from such a unique and distinctive space.”
