Tattvaa Yogashala Spain

300-hour advanced yoga teacher training in Andalusia

For practitioners who have moved beyond the early stages of yoga practice and are seeking something more substantive — philosophically grounded, technically rigorous and carefully considered — the 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training offered by Tattvaa Yogashala Spain merits serious attention.

The programme takes place at Alma del Búho, a residential retreat situated among olive groves and pine forests in the province of Cádiz, which serves as the setting for the 2026–2027 course.

The training is led by Yogi Kamal Singh, founder of Tattvaa Yogashala in Rishikesh and a teacher whose reputation within Ashtanga circles rests on decades of committed practice and a notably precise and attentive approach to instruction. Alongside him, Aly Simeone — co-founder of Asturias Yoga, holder of an MRes based in classical Indian philosophy with a specialism in Samkhya, and a doctoral candidate researching Ayurveda and female health — brings to the programme an integration of embodied practice and scholarly inquiry that is relatively uncommon in contemporary yoga education.

The asana faculty is further complemented by Sebastián Arbondo, whose 27 years of practice is informed by advanced training in physiotherapy and biomechanics, offering participants a functionally and anatomically literate perspective on the postures. Finally joining will be Sunil Sharma of Yoganga Healing in Rishikesh — a teacher with over 25 years of experience — whose engagements with the Bhagavad Gītā and the Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā, together with his teaching of prāṇāyāma and yoga nidrā, have been described by former students in terms that suggest something approaching genuine transformation.

The programme is limited to 15 participants, a constraint that reflects a particular pedagogical commitment to depth over breadth. It is planned for training to take place in different parts of Spain, Bali and Rishikesh in subsequent years.

The first residential module runs from 1 to 10 September 2026. Further information and applications can be found at: hybridyogattc.com
