Practice with Purpose
Katy Appleton, a familiar and respected voice in yoga, returns to the OM Yoga Show this year, bringing with her a depth of experience, integrity and a refreshingly grounded approach.
Teaching since 1997, Katy Appleton offers something increasingly rare in today’s crowded yoga landscape: substance over spectacle. At a time when quick certifications and trend led teaching dominate, her work stands apart — rooted in anatomical intelligence, psychological awareness and a commitment to genuine, long term development.
At the show, she’ll be promoting a 300-hour training beginning in April 2027. Split into two modules, it caters both to curious students and aspiring teachers.
The first, Architecture of Asana, open to all, breaks down foundational postures, guiding students through safe, structured progressions while building a deeper understanding of the body. The second teacher-training module expands into the broader dimensions of yoga, exploring philosophy, psychology and the realities of building a sustainable career.
With a largely in-person format, the training prioritises connection, observation and hands-on learning — elements often lost in digital spaces, but fundamental to Katy’s appleyoga.com ethos.

Alongside the training, visitors can also discover upcoming retreats, including an exciting Costa Rica adventure next March, plus details of a new online studio.
