My Top 5 Favorite Transformational Trends Of 2026
An overview of my favorite holistic wellness lifestyle, mindfulness and spirit trends in 2026.

Since January, I've been pouring over wellness lifestyle reports, yoga studio schedules and astrology charts to find both what intuitively resonates with me as a mindfulness practitioner, and what stands out as new and fresh, likely attuned to my years of experience in corporate and health crisis public relations internationally.
I began studying meditation, which led me on a yogic path journey through India and Bali, in Switzerland more than a decade ago. And I also started experimenting with everything from massage to acupuncture, sound healing, light therapy and breathwork in hopes of feeling better while recovering from burnout.
These days, my personal practices of yoga and meditation help keep me balanced and grounded, and as a competitive dancer since childhood, I find ecstatic dance for fitness provides great supplemental exercise and a lightened spirit.
I found it refreshing and reassuring that much of what I have practiced and enjoyed in recent years has come up as trending for 2026 and in years to come.
Here are my personal favorite 2026 wellness trends that I encountered through my research:
1) Uranus moved into Gemini. This happens once every 84 years, and astrology forecasts indicate a renewed focus on living intuitively, with less formal plan rigidity than in structured Taurus. I found hope in noting this dynamic, as intuition has helped me survive globally, and provided me with the right kinds of unique biology attuned methods and practices in mindfulness and yoga studies.
2) Personalized wellness to extend joy from holistic and innovative practices came up as the #1 top trend in 2026 in my research. Interestingly, this nicely aligns with a Uranus movement into Gemini dynamic. I can totally relate to lightening up on oneself about a yoga and wellness method and practice, and adjusting it to one's own biology, needs and context as it evolves over time. Early on in my yoga studies, I noticed I became frustrated with myself for certain postures not working well for my body. It felt a bit like elements of formulas in ballet that led me to prioritize more contemporary dance forms. These days, I blend my personalized practices with more fluid dance stretches where I feel my body needs it most, and things like mindful walking on grass in between sequences that remain challenging to me. Something similar happened to me when I began meditation practice. I committed to ten minute seated meditations daily beyond weekly class and was routinely dissatisfied with my buzzing mind, boredom and ambient noise. Eventually, I gave up on silence and began meditation with sound healing incorporated, which is how my meditation studies took off as a life path change.
3) Neurowellness, as a new trend and buzz word in holistic wellness to acclimate to, captivated me from experience in neuroscience medicines PR times, and my own proactive mental healthcare personal journey with psychology and psychiatry care as part of my burnout recovery journey. I loved seeing mental health becoming a trend in wellness, showing an evolution in mindsets and methods extending beyond physical fitness and #nutrition. With proactively focusing on what's going on in my mind, I've found it's often soothed by things like brief intervals of time offline to gain perspective and ground energy, which is not to be disrespectful to intensely focused productivity and mindsets enabling that in the brain. It's more like soothing an internal tantrum when Wi-Fi glitches in the midst of a creative spurt with simply doing something else to calm down and make the best of what exists for now. The world still didn't end, and I'm still here can gently take the edge off of many things, I've noticed. So can a quick walk, gentle stretches, and a few deep breaths.
4) Longevity science-backed offerings tailored to women was something ii found blissfully aligned with my own yoga studio kinds of investments prioritized recently. I've enjoyed exploring several women's circles in recent months abroad, each mindfully attuned and unique in its own space chosen, collection of people and way. And if challenged or looking to regroup, such offerings feel like a safe as possible way of doing so.
5) Festivalization of wellness was a delightful experience to come across in my 2006 wellness trends research. I absolutely love a festival of light, sound and sustainability lifestyle experience. I've attended several leading festivals globally over decades, and my favorite luxury routine splurge remains ecstatic dance for fitness. Add a sarong, kimono and / or cowboy hat to yoga clothes and a fun, healthy, celebratory community vibe can take the edge off pf many things! Every day can feel like a festival with ecstatic dance.
I hope this may resonate with and inspire you on your journeys, with happiness, health and compassionate wishes!
