My place

There is a tangible energy in Spain’s capital that just cannot be put into words, reckons yogini Daisy Tonge. “I lived as an expat in Madrid for several years and although the city is big and oftentimes noisy and busy, there are parks and green spaces to be found everywhere,” she tells OM. El Parque de las Siete Tetas is a beautiful example. This park lies tucked away to the northeast of the Spanish capital and here you can find people enjoying the stunning city landscape framed by snow-tipped mountains. “For me, it was the perfect place to find peace and quiet, and of course, for a spot of yoga. And as a yoga teacher with Omflow, an interactive, live, online global yoga studio, I’m glad I can see the world while sharing my practice with others online.”
