When I was a yoga teacher and single parent, I didn’t have the luxury of leaving my small child and demanding business for weeks or even days to upgrade my training. Yet I knew I needed to stay fresh and inspired as a yoga teacher. That’s when I turned to the online platform.
Discovering first-hand the convenience of online professional development, I started offering our specialised women’s yoga teacher training courses online for time-poor mothers and yoga teachers like me. That was back in 2006. Since then, Bliss Baby Yoga has become a world-leading provider of online professional development for yoga teachers. So many of our course registrants at Bliss Baby Yoga are mothers and/or busy yoga teachers.

Online teacher training is the most convenient option to fit their study around family and teaching commitments. “I loved that I could do the course from my own home – on my phone and computer – whilst looking after my newborn,’” says Suzie, who completed our Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training.
Jenny, another graduate, of our Restorative Yoga Teacher Training, shares that as a stay-at home mum she was grateful to learn a new skill at her own pace. Does studying at home mean the quality of the content or your teaching confidence is compromised? The answer from the hundreds of students who have completed our online women’s yoga courses over the last two decades is a resounding ‘no!’. If the online course offers a good mix of practical and theoretical content in the form of videos, audios and comprehensive course manuals, along with assessments like quizzes, teaching assignments and even live video calls to test your knowledge, there’s no reason you won’t feel equipped to bring your new skills gained online into the yoga studio.
