Breathe away anxiety
Reading time: 1 minute
Anxiety often shows up when we’re disconnected from our breath, our body, and our truth. It’s not something to fear, but a signal to look within.
For me, that reconnection came through Kundalini yoga and sound healing. These practices helped me release shame and patterns of self-sabotage. As I let go, I felt lighter, more present, more creative. Life began to flow again.
When we’re grounded in the now, anxiety loosens its grip. We stop chasing peace and begin to remember it’s already within us.
Try this simple grounding breath before sleep to ease anxiety:
- Stand or sit with your bare feet on the floor. Feel the ground beneath you.
- Set an intention to release fear, anxiety, and self-doubt.
- Close your eyes and begin:
- Inhale for a count of 4,
- Hold for 4,
- Exhale for 4,
- Pause for 4.
Repeat this cycle for three minutes. You can play the Adi Shakti mantra in the background, a powerful sound for transformation. Let yourself fully land back in your body.
Small moments of stillness can create big shifts. When we realign, we return to our power and to the life we’re truly meant to live.
