Studio A poem by Natalie Ward

"I come to yoga
The place
I worship
What it means
To be a body
Alive."

“This is a poem about yoga I wrote while in the studio. It popped into my mind while I was on my mat before a class, the heat through the vent covering the sounds of me searching for my notebook and pen amongst my yoga balls, graston tool and yoga strap in my bag. There is something about the studio that often promotes creativity for me, so I always have pens and a notebook nearby. The photo is one I snapped of the studio before class.”

A Studio Poem

Yoga unplugged

I am really enjoying your Yoga Unplugged series at the moment by Hannah Barrett. It’s a great and simple way to get an appreciation of the Yamas and Niyamas in yoga and how these often complex topics can be understood and applied to our day-to-day lives.

Yummy yoga

I’m not the best cook in the world but I have been inspired by your recipes in recent months. They are helping me to get more creative in the kitchen and are always a good prompt for eating more cleanly and healthily. Sometimes there are a few too many ingredients in there, so I may adapt a little, but if it gets me cooking more and eating better then it’s all good!
