Mantra of the month

You Create You 1

The only person in charge of your own destiny is you. It's up to you to build and create the life you want. Every decision we make shapes our future and invites
in new opportunities and possibilities. Why not choose positive, more expansive thoughts to change your life for the better?

I have learnt a lot about this mantra on my journey of setting up my own business. Feeling anxious about making the right decisions, and worried I’m not capable, but as soon as you have a small success or victory the belief and enthusiasm to grow creeps in. If you believe, and try, then whatever the outcome at least you know you did your best; and if you do fail, you can learn from mistakes.

Take some time to think about the kind of life you want to create for yourself. What changes would you like to make? What are you happy with? I recommend following these steps to get the most out of your mantra.

  1. Write it down and manifest your goals, dreams and ideas. Don't hold back. No matter how unattainable they may be, they will only happen if you create them and put yourself in the right situation to accept them. Manifesting is so effective and can be very inspiring as other ideas might arise as you go.
  2. Meditate on this mantra: You Create You. Repeat this mantra over and over to remind yourself that you are your own boss and you create your own life and all the opportunities that come with it.
  3. Visualise your dreams and aspirations. Visualisation is a powerful tool: if you visualise the situation and believe you are doing it, whatever it may be, then that's one step closer to bringing it to reality.
