Hotel Yoga - Rock OM

Cool yoga music vibes are the new thing for the next crop of chic, boutique luxury hotels, such as Rock OM at Hard Rock Hotel

Not so long ago, doing yoga at a big hotel would mean finding your way to a small gym tucked away somewhere on the first or second floor.

Now, yoga and wellness are integral to the boutique hotel experience.

Hard Rock Hotels continues to roll out its Rock OM in-room yoga experience at more properties with plans to open up in the Czech capital, Prague. With 523 rooms and suites, it will boast magnificent views overlooking Letna Park and the spectacular Prague Castle from the hotel’s sophisticated rooftop Sky Bar.

As well as the in-room Rock OM yoga experience — with yoga mats and music-infused yoga workouts provided as standard — guests have complimentary use of Fender guitars, amps and headphones (let’s just hope your neighbours can play!).

Hard Rock Hotel Prague is set to open its doors in the energetic capital in 2023.

But others want a piece of the action too.

The new SO/ Wellness Experience recently launched at SO/ Vienna, where the concepts are being piloted in advance of a future global roll-out.

SO/ Hotels & Resorts is an exclusive brand from hotels group Accor that features fashionable hotels exhibiting what it calls a “distinctively rebellious” interpretation of luxury.

“The new SO/ Wellness experience seeks to bring nourishment and wellbeing to our jet-setting guests who live fast and like to showcase their attitude. We’ve created fun and creative ways to restore energy, so that guests can continue their pursuit of a have-it-all lifestyle, complete with a reset button,” says Aldina Duarte Ramos, global director of Well-Being, Accor.

Its fitness programme includes Deep Beats Yoga, a transformational sound-immersive experience that combines dynamic vinyasa and power flow yoga sets alongside invigorating soundtracks played through Bluetooth headsets.

And when you first walk into the lobby look out for The Glow Bar, a pop-up spa concept entirely encased within a glowing cube that offers express spa, massage and beauty treatments.
