Stefanie Arend

Stefanie is a renowned Yin Yoga instructor, holistic health coach, nutritionist, and ener gy worker. The first German author to focus exclusively on Yin Yoga, she has written six books, including the classic bestseller Yin Yoga: The Gentle Path to the Inner Centre and Surya Namaskar: The Sun Salutation, which were both named Best Yoga Book of the Year in German-speaking countries. Jo De Rosa

With over 15 years of yoga teaching experience Jo now runs one of the UK’s most magical retreat centres based in Lavenham, Suffolk ( In this issue, Jo writes about a recent shamanic serpent retreat at the centre (see page 108).
