Katherine Salter

Katherine is a yoga teacher based in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex. She finished her first teacher training in 2014 and has been teaching ever since, and is continually deepening her own knowledge and practice. Her yoga journey has taken her from Taiwan to England, via Thailand and India. She enjoys Power Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, BodyStrong and Yin Yoga. Her teaching emphasises breathing, body awareness, correct alignments, strength and flexibility building, delivering yoga in a supportive and encouraging way. Claudia is a yoga teacher who writes our My Yoga Biz column. She's worked with West Bromwich Albion, Doncaster Rovers and Port Vale football clubs and has a Yoga for Athletes and Sport accreditation with leading Sports Yoga teacher Sarah Ramsden. She's also trained with Anne Marie Newland at Sun Power Yoga, is a Total Yoga Nidra Teacher after studying with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, has studied Yin Yoga with Norman Blair and has spent time at Oxford University studying mindfulness.
