Adventure Yogi

Adventure and yoga for all

Where: Destinations in the UK and abroad, including the Lake District, Peak District, Cornwall, Dartmoor, Brecon Beacons, or kayak and hike along the west coast of Ireland. In Europe, there’s skiing and hiking in the French Alps, multi-activity holidays in Montenegro, hiking in Madeira, and SUP and beach breaks in Sardinia. Further afield, you’ll find surf and beach holidays in Costa Rica, exotic adventures in Bali, culture and relaxation in Marrakech, and hiking in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco…to name a few!

Tell me more: AdventureYogi is one of the longest established retreat companies in the UK, created in 2006 from a love of adventure, yoga, healthy eating and the connection between nature and mental wellbeing…it all started with skiing and yoga! Now it is global and offers professional, personalised experiences that awaken the yogi and fun in you. Having navigated through the pandemic by offering online yoga classes and retreats, and focusing on UK retreats for the last two years, it is excited to bring a variety of foreign adventures back for 2022 and beyond. AdventureYogi has also been featured in The Guardian’s January round up of ‘best yoga retreats’ for seven years in a row! Expect a professional, trustworthy and warm service from the moment you enquire to the moment you arrive back home. A fun-loving company that takes yoga, diet and adventure seriously while being playful and fun, and encouraging new friendships and connection. With a strong focus on sustainability, and offsetting its team’s carbon footprints with Ecologi and being an ambassador of ‘Tourism Declares a Climate Emergency’, the company is now working towards B Corp certification in 2022.

Suitable for: Retreats are inclusive and welcome total beginners and seasoned practitioners, all ages and everything in-between!

Accommodation: AdventureYogi works with venues with a good carbon footprint and those working towards reduced carbon goals. Its venue in Norfolk, for example, is an eco-retreat centre and is run on renewable energy. In the UK, it has a range of converted barns, private houses on the beach, old manor houses, while abroad you’ll stay in stunning beach front villas, modern retreat centres with roof top yoga shalas and ocean views, converted olive mills and traditional Alpine chalets.
