You may at the moment, be feeling a little sluggish, especially with the current weather in the UK being grey and rainy as it is currently. But this is also due  to the Super Moons that we are currently having in August, this year. The first one was on 1st August and the next one is on 31st August. This is great for manifesting, but also can have an impact on emotions and energy due to the this, so this can explain why doubts and lack of energy emerge during this time.

Also, everyday ups and downs can have a huge impact on our energy levels and can often result in the build up of self doubts, which does not help either. Negative thoughts can drain us so it is important to keep the mind focused on the positives as much as possible.

Here are five self-care tips to help you feel rejuvenated when these times hit:

1. Prioritise Regular Exercise: Engaging in physical activity not only benefits your body but also your mind. Whether it's going for a walk, hitting the gym, doing yoga, or dancing, regular exercise helps reduce stress, boosts your mood, helps you maintain focus and increases your energy levels.

2. Practice Mindfulness and Meditation: Take some time each day to practice mindfulness or meditation. These practices can help you relax, reduce anxiety, and promote mental clarity. Focusing on the present moment can bring a sense of peace and rejuvenation to your mind which is of great benefit when it comes to reducing stress.

3. Get Quality Sleep: Ensure you are getting enough restful sleep each night. About 7-8 hours sleep each night is sufficient. Set a consistent sleep schedule, create a calming bedtime routine, and make your sleep environment conducive to relaxation. Quality sleep is crucial for overall well-being and rejuvenation.

4. Unplug and Disconnect: Take a break from technology and social media. Constant digital engagement can be draining as well as bring up emotions that may not be positive. Instead, spend time in nature, read a book, or engage in a hobby that brings you joy and fulfilment.

5. Treat Yourself to Relaxation: Set aside time for self-indulgence. Take a bubble bath, get a massage, or engage in any activity that helps you unwind and de-stress. Treating yourself to relaxation can work wonders for your overall well-being.

Remember, self-care is essential for maintaining balance and rejuvenating your mind, body, and spirit. Incorporate these practices into your daily or weekly routine to feel more energised and revitalised no matter what is going on with the moon or in life in general.

The more you can switch off from all the noise and stresses in life regularly, the better it is for you and your wellbeing.

And a final reminder, self care is not being selfish. Everybody needs to implement self care to be at their optimum peak in life, so never feel that it's a selfish thing to do. If life is busy, setting time aside for self care will only benefit you and those around you will get the best version of you, so it's a win-win for everyone.
