Welcome

Welcome to the September issue of OM Yoga & Lifestyle magazine (as we’re officially titled). Read on for all things yoga, inspiration and motivation — we’ve got everything inside to power your practice both on and off the mat this month.

Get ready for the OM Yoga Show too. We’re continuing the countdown to our sister show, which takes place from 13-15th October at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace.

Europe’s biggest yoga event, it’s an unmissable occasion for anyone with an interest in the ancient practice, whether you’re a total beginner keen to learn more, or an experienced teacher. There are hundreds of free classes on offer, plus it’s also a whole heap of fun too!

Meet some of the many amazing teachers you can expect to see there inside this issue, including our cover model, Sally Parkes, one of the nation’s leading instructors and teacher trainers in pregnancy, fertility and postnatal yoga. Other teachers inside who you’ll meet at the show include Ravi Dixit, our regular Man on the Mat, Isabelle Lankester (who you can practice with online via this month’s Yoga at Home sequence), and the super-inspiring Sarah Highfield, our brilliant OM Lite columnist.

And don’t forget: you’ve still got a bit of time to vote in our inaugural OM Yoga Awards. These will be presented at the OM Yoga Show in London but you’ve got the chance to have your say today! Cast your vote now!

Have a great month, yogis, and may the long-time sun shine upon you.
